What's the Law of Attraction &
How Does it Work?

The Law of Attraction states that people experience physical and mental manifestations that correspond to their predominant thoughts, feelings & words. People, therefore, have direct control over reality and their lives through thought alone. A person's thoughts (conscious and unconscious), emotions, beliefs and actions are said to attract corresponding positive and negative experiences.

It all boils down to this: you get what you think about... your thoughts determine your experience.

Although this idea has been popular among certain philosophers and gurus for centuries, the Law of Attraction has received intense criticism from multiple circles in the media, the scientific community and maybe even from you! This criticism is based around the simple concern that it doesn't seem to work every time for every one.

The magic to making the law of attraction work for you is two fold. First is to understand that you have many more thoughts than you are consciously aware of. Second, you need to utilize the law of action.

Your Thoughts Will Rub the Genie's Lamp!

The key to making the Law of Attraction work for you is to realize that your thoughts and words are things. That's right. They're as real as the desk you're sitting at right now. You just can't see them!

Ancient Wisdom says that each thought vibration has a unique energy & creative power of its own. It's put into the universal field of consciousness & creativity. The Law of Attraction is not a new idea, it's 10,000 years old or more!! This concept provides the basis of quantum physics.

You think of a close friend or relative one moment. The next moment the phone rings, and on the other end, it's the person you were thinking about.


Have you thought how great it would be to meet a certain person or have a certain thing? Then, suddenly, it shows up in your life? Maybe it's an item that you end up owning or a friend simply starts a conversation about it....

These 'accidental' occurrences are examples of the power of your thoughts and the Law of Attraction in action. The great news is that when you learn certain tools and techniques you can attract things & events with consistency. You can become the Genie in a Bottle for yourself!

These experiences were created by one thought. Wow! Just one thought can bring things and situations into your world. The challenge is that we have millions of thoughts per day. Some estimates say that up to 70% of them are negative or focused on what we don't want. What do you think these negative thoughts create? That's right, stuff we don't want.

You may have seen The Secret or watched 'What the Bleep Do We Know'. Both of these films are excellent resources on the Law of Attraction and can get you very excited about using the powers of your mind. Unfortunately, they don't tell you much about exactly how to change your thoughts.

The Law of Action

Much of what you've been taught about how to get what you want can stonewall success! We've been taught that you get what you want in life by doing. Most people believe that the action part is what makes things happen. And that's true to an extent..but much less of an extent than you think!!

The reason that we as a society put a lot of emphasis on action is because we do not understand the power of thought. Over 90% of people's actions are spent trying to compensate for inappropriate thought!

The problem is that we are preoccupied with doing. Unfortunately, most of our doing usually involves struggle. We are trying to force our desire into manifestation through action!

It is not your action that makes things happen; it is your intent. You can reduce the need for action to a very minimum by allowing yourself to do two things:

1. Focusing what you desire

2. Doing what it takes to make deep, unconscious change of your patterns until you feel the positive energy begin to move within you. This energy is not based on doubt, fear, anxiety, worry or need. It's based on love, joy and happiness.

When you focus on what you want instead of what you don't want, you will know when it is time to take action. And when you do, it will be effortless. Doors open and the entire universe will conspire to assist you in your desire.

If you focus on what you desire and still feel overwhelmed or anxious, then you are not ready for any action. Have you ever seen people who seem to have all the wonderful things in their life without much effort? It almost seems like they have an advantage over everyone else. Then, you see that the people who work the hardest usually have the least.

That doesn't seem fair, does it? But that's the way the universe works!

Unfortunately, those who work the hardest usually have the least because they haven't learned the leverage of aligning their energy and thoughts. They are going about creating their lives the hard way, using only their actions to create what they want.

So if I'm Not Supposed to 'Do', What Can I Do?

There are lots of small things that you can do to get your energy positively flowing and make attaining your goals easier. These are fun, seemingly small and insignificant, yet can lead to BIG CHANGES in your energy and ability to put the Law of Attraction to good use. Try making a vision board , doing some meditations ,using positive affirmations or visualizations .

The important thing is that you DO SOMETHING towards your goals, even if it's just figuring out exactly what you'd like to have or transforming your mental energy & focus.

Just sitting around never got anyone anywhere. There's a book just released that's titled 'Doing What Got You Here Won't Get You There'. That's the best advice on the planet. You've gotta do something different to get to where you want to go unless you want more of the same.

T. Harv Ecker says that he's never been meditating and had a bag of money fall on his head. So while it takes action on the mental & unseen levels, it also takes action in the world we can see. The key to freeing the genie in the bottle is appropriate thought & action at the right time.

Remember, mental action first, then physical action. When this happens your wishes will be granted.
