Weld County Tornadoes:
Your Chance to Help

Last week, in Weld County, Colorado (not too far from the Denver area), the infamous "Weld County Tornadoes" ripped through the town of Windsor. 100+ homes were lost. It’s easy to forget about the disaster and people affected as it becomes a minor story on the news, but the fact remains: these folks are our neighbors and could really use our support right now.

In this day and age with tight economic times and the hustle of life upon us, it’s easy to focus on all you don’t have. You may feel you don’t have time to relax and spend more time with those you love. You may not have a few extra bucks in your pocket to go out to eat. While these are concerns in most people’s lives, what if you suddenly didn’t have your house or any of the things in it like clothes or even precious family pictures?

It’s my belief that when you give, it comes back to you many times over. So here’s our opportunity to give and feel really great about it. You donation will help with disaster relief including meals, shelter and supplies for the affected.

If you’d like to join me in donating money, go to www.denver-redcross.org and designate the funds to “Weld County Tornadoes”

If you’d like to volunteer your time or donate supplies in the Denver area for information call 211 or outside the metro area call 303-433-8900.

And if tornado relief doesn’t interest you, find a cause in your area that does and give!
